Only about 1 km from Vorbasse Camping you will find a lovely natural area with a fenced dog forest. Here your dog can run freely without a leash and explore the area safely. The dog forest is open to everyone and is a popular destination among our guests with dogs.

The area around the dog forest is scenic and perfect for long walks where both people and dogs can enjoy the silence and nature. On the map at Shelterbyen you can easily find the dog forest, which is located close to the campsite.

The dog forest is especially suitable for dogs that need to run freely and socialise with other dogs in safe surroundings.

Right next to the dog forest you will find a cosy excursion area at Shelterbyen. Here there are four shelters, a pizza oven, a covered fire hut, and a compost toilet. The area is designed for relaxation, outdoor cosiness, and quality time with the whole family.

Here you can spend a full day in nature, cook over an open fire, and take a break from the campsite. Firewood can also be purchased on site, making it easy to light a fire and create a cosy atmosphere.

For the comfort of all guests, dogs must always be kept on a leash on the campsite. This is out of respect for other guests, children, and animals on site.

We also expect owners to clean up after their dogs. This helps us maintain a clean, safe, and pleasant campsite for everyone.
