Vorbasse – A town full of charm and convenience

Vorbasse is a welcoming town with everything you need during your stay. Here you will find a supermarket, bakery, clothing stores, and a modern leisure centre located directly opposite the campsite. The town is known for its strong community spirit and the traditional Vorbasse Market, which attracts thousands of visitors every year.

Nature experiences right on your doorstep

Vorbasse Camping is situated in a beautiful natural setting surrounded by woodland and scenic trails – perfect for both relaxation and outdoor activities. The area features four Heart Trails that guide you through the surrounding countryside. The routes vary in length and are suitable for both walking and running. Trail maps are available from the reception.

Not far from the campsite, you will also find Grene Sande, a wonderful natural area offering excellent opportunities for hiking and cycling, including mountain biking. You can also visit the beautiful Seven-Year Lakes and experience the unique tranquillity that characterises this part of Jutland.

Close to some of Denmark’s biggest attractions

Vorbasse is located just 12 km from Billund – often referred to as the children’s capital of Denmark – home to popular attractions such as LEGOLAND®, Lalandia, WOW PARK, and the impressive LEGO® House. These destinations guarantee memorable experiences for both children and adults.

Givskud Zoo is another excellent choice for a day trip and is only a short drive away. Larger cities such as Kolding, Vejle, and Esbjerg are also easily accessible, all within 30–45 minutes by car.

Randbøl hede og Frederikshåb plantage

Discover Randbøl Heath, one of Denmark’s largest inland heathlands, shaped by a rugged landscape that heathland farmers, German potato settlers, and eventually the state sought to cultivate. Around 1800, approximately 7,000 km² of Jutland was covered by heathland – an area equivalent to the size of the entire island of Zealand.

Ribe Vikingcenter
